Inkwell - Japanese Arts & Crafts - Sea Life

A rare Japanese Antique Arts & Crafts Inkwell with a Sea life Motif. 
It is made of brass and is cylindrical in shape. It is encircled by 3 strands of braided brass.
 Below the top braid are 3 small figures of a turtle, frog and bee. The top is most unique and has a lobster and a crab all done in bronze, copper and brass. 
The insert is brass and glass. It measures 1 3/4" in diameter and is 2 1/4" in height. A beautiful inkwell!
